My name is Lionell Pack, and I have more than one blog.
I’m no blog-a-holic: I’ve been through periods of intense blogging, but I’ve also had some extended hiatuses. At some stage, though, I decided it was worth collecting some of my thoughts in the one place, and so Rophuine.net was born.
Why Rophuine? It’s a rendering of ‘black panther’ into one of Tolkien’s constructed Elvish languages. I’ve always been a tremendous fan of Tolkien, a bit of a language geek, and the black panther has always been the animal which most captured my imagination.
